Ontologies in Open Targets
Ontologies in Open Targets
Matthijs van der Zee on 01/19/2024:
“OT contains EFO and MONDO IDs, fortunately MONDO is also contained in OBO, and often both DOID and MONDO (both from OBO) will be contained in the cross-references of EFO... Of course with every conversion some detail may be lost, but we are hopeful that this will suffice, at least for the initial steps of this project.
GeneOntology annotations from GO are extracted from UniProt and included in OT at gene-level (genes themselves are unified to ENSEMBL ID). We will investigate if this is included in BioCypher, and if so to what quality.”
